Well this is just the same old tired format for paranormal YA boarding school romps. Because I love this song and it is perfect for seducing unsuspecting warlocks in a basement this book…. I also expected more from the professors. I tend to stay away from books published during that time since they’re filled with unhealthy romantic relationships and girl-on-girl hate. It isn’t really what I had expect but that doesn’t mean that I enjoyed it any less, just that the hype for this book was too high.

Sophie was everything you would expect her to be given her situation. Sophie is one of the most funny characters I read about. And Archer is such an adorable boy to crush on even if that makes me a touch pervy. Although I am not feeling the Team Archer vibe after this book I will say that as far as romance this series has potential.

It’s pretty interesting and I want to know more. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. I space out and take a lot of reading breaks. However, when Anna was attacked, Archer was dancing with Sophie at the ball.

Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie’s estranged father—an elusive European warlock—only when necessary. View all 12 comments.
