Sands for bringing me another wonderful Argeneau book! As Enforcers and as Bodyguards, they failed in their basic responsibilities, putting themselves and their charges at risk.
The two of them, plus their very likeable companions must solve this, before someone else gets murdered. I loved her wild hair, crazy motorcycle, and her life for the moment attitude. Is she caught up in an elaborate corporate conspiracy, or is she actually losing her mind? Both of them had been considered heroes. I almost immediately suspected the murderers. I guess you could read them out of order, but there would be some confusion as there are some stories that carry over into the others.

Eshe is one of the ancients, and an Enforcer, sent by Lucian to his brother Armand’s farm in southern Ontario to investigate the supposedly accidental deaths of all three of Armand’s wives – and the wife of his son Nicholas. Armand Argeneau has been a character surrounded by mystery and intrigue.
In fact, the writing was really simplistic. She’s a female vampire and she’s a badass dammit! I found Born to Bite to be a wonderful addition to the series, and look forward to the next.
Armand chuckled at his sour expression. Had to put it zands more than once, even read another I know as the creator of the Argeneau group I should love the books in the series more than anyone, but seriously this book was terrible. Gateway Template Matthew Hughes.

Great series but this one wasn’t one of my favorites Part of the popular Argeneau series, ‘Born to Bite’ picks up where ‘The Renegade Hunter’ left off. After months of travel, Anna Kubrin finally arrives on Mars for her new job as a geologist and de facto artist-in-residence.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. How cute and zany will it be if they get together? They meet, realize they are mates and go straight to bed.
She’ll drown for sure. He could feel her watching him as he left and wished he could watch her too. But after three wives who’ve all had trouble remaining, well, undead, Armand is reluctant to open his heart again.
So, considering my city-girlness, my dislike of anything gross, and my general distaste for the stupid, this guy didn’t cut it for me. Her actions were automatic as she mounted and started the bike, her mind on Armand Argeneau and the possibility that he had had something to do with the deaths of his wives and then Annie.
Her hope is that readers can get away from their everyday stress through her stories, and if there are occasional uncontrollable fits of laughter, that’s just a big bonus. Unfortunately, Eshe discoveries that Armand is her life mate, but can she trust him? Eshe gently probes Armand about his past wives in order to cross him off the suspect list, and when they get to the point of being unable to keep their hands off each other which leads to post-orgasmic unconsciousnessattempts are made on their own lives that makes it clear someone is definitely trying to kill not just the women in Armand’s life, but him as well, now.
Let’s just say the hot and steaminess of the beginning chapters will have you running for a cold shower. It has grown within him – changed him – but all power comes with a price, and now the ghosts of his past, formerly confined to the Misery, walk with him everywhere.
Eshe might get a pass because of her raging hormones and bliss, but Bricker and Anders have no such excuse. However, the last two were mediocre at best this one too.
